• Are You Gonna Talk Or Are You Going To DO Something?

“One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon.  Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts.   When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money.  Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!”  So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.  Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ…

  • I Believe You.

I believe you. I have had to say that to a human this week and it was a step of faith that was taken in fear, because faith does not always mean the absence of fear, it means acknowledging the fear and deciding not to yield to it. Honestly, I didn’t even know I was that afraid until I was confronted with the truth. But I chose faith. And I chose to believe.

  • When Your Security Fails… And It Will..!

Do you know what it means for the mountains to be moved and the hills disappear? The mountains and hills that surround ancient cities are usually trusted and relied on by the military to aid in the city’s defence. They can be used as hiding places or used to launch strategic military attacks. Now, God is saying even if the physical defences that you’ve mounted and relied on to protect you are no longer there, HIS LOVE CAN BE RELIED UPON to keep you protected and cared for.

  • How I Literally Worried Myself Sick!

Not so long ago,  I was obsessed with what I was getting, what I should be getting and I didn’t have and wanted really badly.  This obsession was cleverly masked and disguised as “ambition” and  “drive”. But who was I deceiving? Myself apparently. I was constantly unhappy and so unfulfilled. I didn’t like my life. I felt small and insignificant. And then, I worried myself sick. Literally.  I became ill. And then on my sick bed, all was quiet in my head and God was able to finally get my attention. I had been chasing the wrong things. I left my purpose and bought into the narrative the world has…

  • The Only Way To Understand Your Value

Do you ever think about how valuable you are?  Maybe you already know that. Maybe you have parents or siblings or friends or even a spouse who lets you know that on a daily basis.  Or maybe you don’t. Whether or not someone tells you is not the case here though. It’s whether or not you know for sure that you’re precious and valuable. Get this. You’re not valuable because someone says you are, you’re not valuable because of the amazing things you do at work or the selfless sacrifices you make for your loved ones. It’s not about your contributions to society either.

  • It’s Not How You Get Started…

Beginnings are almost always rough, uncertain, and sometimes even discouraging and almost never perfect. But if you seek perfection before you begin, you will never move forward with anything. So start anyway. Once you get going, build momentum. don’t stop. keep gathering, keep pushing, and when you do look back, you’ll be amazed at the progress you have made.   Love ya!

  • GOD, I Trust You. Errr… Do I Really?

If there’s one prayer I have been obsessively praying in recent times; it’s for the grace to trust God more and the strength and courage to let him do all that he has promised to do, without interference from me. It’s easy to declare we trust God and we are willing to “cast out cares” but when push comes to shove and it looks like our comfort or position, stability and security is threatened, we are caught in the web of trying to solve our own problems the best way we know how to.

  • Waiting With Patience

We spend a lot of time in our lives waiting because change is a process. Many people want change, but they don’t want to go through the waiting process. But the truth is, waiting is a given—we are going to wait. The question is, are we going to wait the wrong or right way? If we wait the wrong way, we’ll be miserable; but if we decide to wait God’s way, we can become patient and enjoy the wait. It takes practice, but as we let God help us in each situation, we develop patience, which is one of the most important Christian virtues.

Psalm 56 : 3 -4 But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me? • EVERYTHING Is Possible!

Are you facing something today that seems impossible? With man it may be, but with God, ALL things are possible. If you seem to be in an impossible situation, get “with God!” Sometimes it’s so easy to focus on our problems and try to solve them in our own strength. But remember, the battle belongs to the Lord. He has a plan for your victory.
